Meet the Leadership Team

Rosa is the CEO and Founder of KeyData Associates. Rosa is a trusted advisor to clients in all industry sectors. She regularly advises on cybersecurity and operational risk, especially matters pertaining to governance, control environment, systemic risk, and regulatory compliance in critical infrastructure industries.

Prior to starting at KeyData, Rosa was Chief information Security Officer at BMO Financial Group where she also had responsibility for leading the enterprise on all aspects of Operations Risk and Business Continuity. Prior to BMO, Rosa was Chief Information Security Officer at Ontario Hydro where she provided leadership and governance for security across the enterprise, which included the world’s largest nuclear facilities and power grid.

Rosa holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario and a certificate in Advanced Executive Program from NorthWestern Kellogg School of Management.

Sean is a highly accomplished cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience, 10 years of which were with one of the largest professional services firms. His professional career has spanned across Identity and Access Management, Security Architecture, Security Governance, and Web Application Security. He has effectively managed multiple concurrent projects ranging from complex integration, business process design, to defining strategies and roadmaps.

Sean is a Project Manager Professional (PMP), a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Internal Systems Auditor (CISA). He is also an active member of the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP).

Brian’s extensive experience in the Canadian IT Industry has led to the development of a broad skill set. With over 20 years focused on managing and growing security consulting practices, Brian has led large Canadian InfoSec projects in the Federal Public Sector, Energy Industry and Financial Services Sector.

Since joining KeyData as the CTO, Brian provides a technical voice to the KeyData senior leadership team. This position also allows Brian to work with strategic customers on tasks that may include everything from helping them reshape their strategies around Identity in the public cloud to developing custom automation and product integrations in several programming languages.

His unique experience as both a defender and an attacker has allowed him opportunities to speak at events from ISACA, ISF, SecTor, EDIST and MISA among others.

Joana is the Chief People Officer of KeyData Associates. Joana is responsible for the human capital solutions and strategies at Key Data that enable a culture of high-growth, excellent service and top performance.

Joana’s past experience specializes in the areas of high-growth, technology and Information Technology. Prior to KeyData, Joana was a Director of Talent Management at Flipp Corporation and was an HR Business Partner at Softchoice, ConMed and Samsung. She is passionate about building high performing teams, coaching and developing leaders and building progressive HR programs for fast growing companies.

Joana holds an Honours BA in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University and a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management at Sheridan College.

Tamara Sutherland has joined the KeyData team as Director of Delivery Services, with over 12 years experience in the field of Project Management, of which she has spent over 8 years in the field of Cyber Security. Over the years, Tamara has worked in industries such as Banking, Hotel & Tourism, HealthCare (SaaS) and now Cyber Security. Each position she has held, has been complimentary to the skills she has developed, especially as it relates to Customer and Delivery Services.

People management is where Tamara thrives, and she is an advocate for work/life balance as she understands that it is easy to forget and overlook the things to be grateful for. Her experience and personable attitude have allowed her to be a mentor for several individuals in the field of Project Management as she is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and expertise along the way.

She holds a Master of Science in Project Management and also has a Bachelor’s Administration Degree in Marketing with a Minor in International Business.

Suzan Kerekian joined the KeyData team as Director of Human Resources. Her previous experience was the Director of People & Culture for a software solutions provider. She has also done consulting work for two large accounting and consulting firms, assisting them with their recruitment strategies. Suzan has over 15 years business experience in recruitment, talent management, and operational support across technology, consulting and manufacturing industries.

As the Director of HR, Suzan is committed to hiring the best talent and people at KeyData so that we can support our customers in their identity security initiatives and business requirements. She is passionate about people and culture and is committed to continue creating a workplace that is inclusive and diverse.

Suzan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from York University.
